I know you may have heard me, either in my office, on the radio, or in my writings, mention the difference between desire vs arousal. But it bears repeating.

Here is my brief video description of the difference.

I try to offer this lens as a more compassionate approach.

People often come in to sex therapy feeling broken. I always tell folks that, as I see it, nobody is ever broken, nobody needs to be fixed, and there is always a perfectly valid reason why they’re struggling with whatever ails them. It always makes perfect sense.

Also, I have exciting news: I will be collaborating with Renew Physical Therapy for pelvic PT issues: https://ptrenew.com/service/pelvic-health-and-wellness

They have several locations, and take insurance.

If you think you may need a pelvic PT feel free to have a chat with me first, or with them. And if you call them, tell them I referred you.
