THURS 4/4 @ 6:30-8 PM Pacific at Citrine in Larkspur, CA.
Description
Part of Citrine’s mission is to promote the development of a stronger connection to yourself and your true essence. It is from this sacred space that we not only connect with ourselves, but with others. Join us at Citrine as Claudia Six, clinical sexologist, coach and TEDx speaker shares her knowledge about desire, connection and sensuality, providing insight on how to better your connection not only to yourself, but your partner as well.
Too often women struggle with thinking their libido is too low or not being able to match their partner’s libido. They think they’re broken. They aren’t. There is a difference between the desire for sex, and actual arousal. People often confuse the two.
At a certain age women aspire to more sensuality and connection from their partners, who don’t always know what that means, leaving everyone frustrated, disconnected and stuck, wondering what the future holds.
In this workshop we will cover:
-Difference between desire and arousal
-“Crockpots vs microwaves” in terms of arousal for men and women
-High or low desire are not permanent labels, they are positions in a system
-Reasons for low desire that make perfect sense
-Remedies for low desire
-Impact of low desire on relationships, and how to address that.
This will be a low key workshop, with intimate and sometimes explicit conversation. You won’t need to perform in any particular way. Please bring your questions and an open mind and heart!
