Don’t waste a precious minute! Enjoy yourself!
I’m having performance anxiety about my Valentine post, which when you think about it is actually perfect: What shall I post? Will they like it? Should I be romantic? Or profound? Or both? What about the people who don’t have a Valentine?
Valentine’s Day can be such a set-up for unmet expectations, self-created disappointments, unmade proposals, unreached simultaneous multiple orgasms. Ugh! Be gentle with yourselves and remember to connect.
When New Year comes around people tend to re-examine their diet, their exercise level, their spending habits…But how many actually re-evaluate their relationship? Few. Ask yourself:
- Is anything missing for you?
- What do you want more of? Less of?
- What do you want to create for yourself?
- Are you willing to be vulnerable to make that happen?
For 2016, I invite you to have a State of the Union conversation, first with yourself, and then with your beloved if you have one.

I’m not a football fan but I couldn’t miss hearing about Tim Tebow’s relationship demise due to his insistence on abstinence until marriage. If nothing else, it’s unusual. He’s young, gorgeous, and fit. But that is totally beside the point.
If he feels strongly about his values, is clear about what is true for him, and lives that authentically, I say “Good for you!”. Assuming he’s not avoiding sex out of some fear or perceived shortcoming, I say he’s a poster boy for Erotic Integrity. And he’s outspoken about it.
Ok, there’s all this talk recently about how optimal it is to have sex one time per week. It correlates with happiness. Bottom line, that’s great if it works for both you and your partner. There’s no quota you have to meet, people! A mercy fuck every week is not Erotic Integrity. One of you is settling for crumbs and the other is training you to do so. But if you’re both being true to yourselves and sexually authentic, and thus in Erotic Integrity, and once a week rocks your world, good for you! once a week
